About Norton’s Peel
Focusing on policy movements that effect the daily lives of political, economic, business and societal leaders, Norton’s Peel aims to provide guidance to researchers, policy makers and front line team members.
Acting as a ‘one stop shop‘ portal, Norton’s Peel tries to cleanly link to other research and information hidden on the Internet, through hand picking information according to topic rather than being over reliant on single sources of information for topics or search engines.
The strap line “I May Be Small, Nevertheless My Sound Travels Great Distances” originates from an inscription on a church bell located in Exeter, in the South West of England. Its a line which sums up the ethos of Norton’s Peel, as it intends to amplify smaller commentators and enable them to access a wider audience than more traditional communication methods.
Robert Norton, a famous bell founder from the region was chosen as the site’s name reference as a result of his prolific work and innovations in bell foundry in the Devon region.
